Spanning three floors this well-appointed property benefits from an abundance of light. As you enter the house you are immediately struck by the impression that this a comfortable family home that has been tastefully decorated throughout.
The inviting entrance hall, with understairs storage and cloakroom. leads to a cosy west-facing living room with original wood flooring and the focal point being the lovely open fire.
The superb kitchen/dining/family room is the "hub" of the home. With plenty of room to cook, dine and entertain this open-plan space has been zoned incredibly well. The kitchen is well designed and integrated and has a nice contemporary feel. From here, Bi-fold doors open out onto a raised decked area. A perfect spot for "al-fresco" dining. Steps lead to a delightful lawned east facing garden with a desired open southerly aspect.
On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. From here, stairs lead up to another double bedroom which benefits from an abundance of eaves storage. There is scope (stnc) to expand this area further.
This really is a lovely and particularly comfortable family home, which is literally "ready to move into"and should be viewed quickly to avoid disappointment.
What the owner says.....
When we bought the house we were moving back from Barbados, so for us location was key. I wanted somewhere near the sea, not far from Gatwick & that had a feeling of spaciousness. Not only did we tick all those boxes but we have the beautiful Sussex downs on our doorstep & we could go to London for the day
ight. I love the fact that I don't need to use my car, I can walk the dog down to the lagoon, jump on a bus or a train if I don't feel like walking into Brighton. I am going to miss my grocer, butcher, fishmonger all within walking distance and our favourite French restaurant in Hove .
Mostly I will miss the amazing people I have met in my street & the slower pace of life that Hove offers.
